A team of four players (or, in the absence of player control, an artificial intelligence) travels through procedurally generated levels in search of valuable resources. We can choose one of four classes, specializing in rock excavation (Driller), terrain reconnaissance (Navigator), team support (Engineer) and fighting off alien hordes (Gunner). Mechanicsĭeep Rock Galactic focuses on a co-op mode for up to four players. Their next destination is Hoxxes IV, famous in equal measure for the richest deposits in the Rigel VII galaxy and for its extremely dangerous aliens.
Players take on the role of dwarven astronauts at the service of the title corporation, specializing in the extraction of raw materials from alien planets. The plot of Deep Rock Galactic is not overly developed. The game is a debut project of a Danish studio Ghost Ship Games. Deep Rock Galactic is an unusual co-op FPS for PC and XONE platforms.
